A unique locator that manages to track and localize objects, determine their position via GPS and then send you exact coordinates in an SMS to your mobile phone (or computer by means of GPRS). All you have to do is call the SIM card that you have inserted in the locator and the device will immediately send you an exact position with a link to Google Maps.
With Helmer LK 508 you can also use the tracking function that works on two principles: first, the device will send information in an SMS. The advantage of this method lies in the low price since the only thing you pay for is the SMS message. The other option is tracking by means of a data tariff where the locator sends information to a dedicated server at intervals that you have defined, plus you will have the option to edit the route (maximum data consumption is 50 MB/month).
Other functions:
- Eavesdropping - after switching into this mode, you may call the locator to listen in to sounds from the surroundings of your locator.
- Password setting - your communication with the locator may be protected by a password and configured so that the respective information is only sent to a predefined phone number
- Movement warning - if the locator moves a predefined distance away, you will receive a warning SMS
- Local Geo-Fence locking - this function helps to limit the locator motion to an area defined by you (if breached, you will receive a message)
- OBDII auto diagnostics - function compatible with vehicles having petrol engines manufactured in the EU after 2001 (also applies to diesel engines manufactured in the EU after 2003)
- Warning when exceeding a predefined speed and when the locator is switched off
- Vibration sensor - 3 sensitivity level settings
- ACC alarm - warning when the vehicle is started
- Warning when losing the GPS signal - the locator will send a warning SMS with the last known position before the signal is lost
- Warning when locator is disconnected from its external power source
