GPS LOCATORS HELP SENIORS IN NEED
A GPS locator or a tracker is a small device that may help find a monitored item, which can be an expensive bicycle, your car, a dog that likes to roam or even a person.
A GPS tracker can easily find a stray dog. Or it detects when the dog runs away from your large fenced-in garden. With a GPS locator for children, you will have one less thing to worry about: the tracker will monitor whether your child goes directly home from school or his/her activities. The locator will detect if the child has avoided, for example, a dangerous road. And this small device will help you if you look after an elderly person.
HAVE YOU STARTED TO PANIC? A GPS LOCATOR WILL HELP YOU SEARCH
Similar cases can be found in a wide range of media: an old person has lost his way in a forest and could not find the way out. An old lady got lost in a vast housing estate or has fallen at home and was not able to call for help. When we grow old or become ill, we can easily lose our bearings or get into situations that we cannot handle. In such cases, impaired motor activity is often accompanied by total disorientation, panic and a loss of sound judgement.
Imagine that you are in the same situation. Plus, as we get older, the ability to withstand stress is definitely not improving. Would you always be able to describe your approximate position? If you look after your old parents or grandparents, or you are arriving at an age when you are not 100% able to manage similar situations, a GPS tracker or locator will make your connection with your loved ones much easier.
GPS LOCATORS: SMALL BUT RELIABLE
These small and lightweight devices use signals of GSM networks or GPS satellites. By means of these signals, they are able to determine their exact position. And since they fit into a pocket, they can determine your own position. The identified information, including exact coordinates, is then sent to a predefined phone number via an SMS. Or to a computer via GPRS.
If you call the SIM card in the locator, you will immediately get an SMS with information about the current location of the GPS locator and a link to Google Maps. Should you select a time interval, the GPS tracker will send regular information about its position. In your computer, you can select a time interval retroactively and view the movements of the person you are monitoring and protecting.
